In September 2021, the latest series of the long-running Japanese Kamen Rider series, Kamen Rider Revice, will begin its run on Japanese TV! In this new series, the main protagonist Ikki Igarashi is an ordinary person who grew up in a normal family. He is attacked by the evil Deadmans group when his family attends a ceremony for his younger brother, who is joining the elite anti-Deadmans corporation ‘Fenix’. This put Ikki into a crisis in which he had to protect his family, forcing him to make a contract with the demon Vice. As a result, Ikki transformed into ‘Kamen Rider Revi’, and Vice transformed into ‘Kamen Rider Vice’.
What Makes Kamen Rider Revice so Unique?
In the past Kamen Rider series, the protagonist generally transformed into a single Kamen Rider alter-ego, but when the protagonist in this installment transforms, the demon Vice in his body transforms as well, resulting in the transformed duo of ‘Kamen Rider Revi’ and ‘Kamen Rider Vice’. This allows two Kamen Riders to come from one transformation! By using Vistamps, Revi and Vice can also transform the weapons that they need, which is a little different from previous Kamen Riders’ fighting methods!
