In the past, Tomica only produced Japanese brand cars and trucks in 1970, and since then the line had grew to up to 109 models by 1978. This variety of models expanded to taxis, buses and even steam engines and ocean liners. In 2006, the Tomica Limited Vintage – Nep was created, and the focus was more on the adult collectors as these models have a high level of realism with more attention to the details such as wheels, tires, paint, trim and emblems.
