Japanese traditional techniques make the style and sound better.
based on 2way speaker system, KRIPTON produces an “Artwork speakers system” by blending the Japanese traditional painting – URUSHI and woven fabric – Nishijin-ori. Compare to common chemical paint, URUSHI use paints from plants to decorate enclosures, make the sound more clear and gentle!
The unique design to apply Japanese traditional techniques into speaker made it won the gold prize in 2019 VGP (Visual Grand Prix) summer award, and it also is appreciated for a special prize in the annual award!
1. High-quality URUSHI made speakers.
There are 2 colors available – brownish red and dark black. The painted enclosure will make the tone much purer and more unique.
2. Using the “Nishijin-ori” made by Kyoto old store as speaker fabric.
Nishijin-ori is a traditional textile produced in Kyoto. It is famous for using many different types of colored yarns and weaving them together into decorative designs. KRIPTON use pure silk of Nishijin-ori as speaker fabric, which good penetrability would not effect sound too much.
3. Use natural wool as acoustic material to adjust the Q0.
It is said that “Pure, deep bass sound is base on Q0”. Especially in the case of sealed enclosures, the importance of acoustic material cannot be too emphasized. KRIPTON use natural wool as acoustic material to adjust the Q0 to make them sound more lively and rich!
Technical improvement makes the specs of most of the speakers become closer. However, the sensitivity and quality of sound will be way different from the commitment to the materials. This speaker will not fail you with its beauty and high-quality!
